請問加拿大公立學校小朋友返學時間幾點至幾點 ?要自己bring lunch box嗎? 自己接送返學嗎?
要上班的媽咪, 係咪要一早起身煮飯佢地帶返學, 煮早餐, 送返學, 接放學? 如果小朋友放學媽媽未放工點安排? 夜晚掛住煮飯洗碗洗衫無時間陪小朋友玩/做功課/溫習?
好想知, 在加拿大無工人的日子, 上班媽媽每日時間表點安排? 還是根本媽媽好難出去工作?(或只做Part time?)

You can arrange with your boss. Normally, we arrange to send the kid to school before school, then pick after school.

Or some moms would work as part-time, or work from home. Or ask the parents to assist.

Yes, you need to prepare lunch for your kids.

Also, no homework assignment until like grade 9 or 10. All kids would do the assignment on their own, no need to play around with them as well.

唔知你住which city，在我這邊就有頗多的after school care , 有學校搞也有家庭式，我校也有兩三個媽媽聯合請一個有牌媬母接哂D仔女去一人屋企，然後放工去接咁囉。至於預備早餐午餐那就必然是你的工作呢

小學上下課時間每個學校局都有點不同，大約都係返八點半至九點之間，放學二點半至三點之間。有的學校裡有before & after school care, 一般開七點，收六點。附近也有私人的, 或是媽咪之間幫手的。兩公婆返工的時間真的要好好配合一下，或是同老闆相就下。至於早餐/午餐/下午茶，我每天早上都要起碼半小時預備比我兩個仔。

Hi,
Do parents still pack lunch for their junior high & high school kids? Or there are canteens at those schools?

Usually, kids can pack their own sandwich since junior high school. Therefore, don't apply the HK culture to here....Kids here are very independent.

There are yellow bus right by school board and it's free. You can ride to school. However, it takes very long as it runs to every school.
