移民來了差不多三年,三年𥚃都是做全職媽媽!無可否認能夠陪伴小朋友一起成長的而且確是件開心事,但當屋企有經濟壓力時,就要放棄陪伴小朋友之時間!我們一家不是什麼投資移民,只是當年跟隨父母過來,而老爺奶奶移民來都是靠當年她的女兒以團聚身份來的,我們放棄晒香港所有嘢,都是為了下一代!
這邊生活是非常舒適,可惜搵錢及搵工非常艱難!以前在香港做文職,現在來到housekeeper,整麵包什麼也要試,最慘有陣時連weekend都要返,所以連family day時間都無埋!其實我們好難同當地人競爭,又要預時間帶小朋友返學放學,又要煮飯!先生雖有一份全職文職工,但都未能cover全屋企每月之開支!現在終於搵到一份比較自由,有機會幫補家計而又照顧到小朋友的part time job!可以令自己活得開心的工作。各位全職媽媽加油呀!
In fact, if no degree, just Form 5/7 graduate in Hong Kong, it's really difficult to find an admin job in Canada. It's common for those working as labour or as cashier at Chinese shop.
For those with degree, it's not difficult to find a job in Canada. At least, all my friends got job here. Hong Kong job market is slow down recent years, only those labour could get better pay due to min wages. There are not many high pay jobs in Hong Kong now.

That's normal for a high school graduate, and this is min pay. The normal working hour for a normal job is 8-4pm Mon thru Fri, 37.5 hours per week. If English is not as good as local people, it's really difficult to get a normal pay job...
