My colleague introduced him to me. He got the 1st honour in HKU medicine. He is a very very nice doctor. He is my doctor when I gave birth to my son 5 years ago. I continue do the annual check in his clinic. The nurse is kind too. The price is reasonable. Every time, he will do the ultra sound for you. The price will include the ultra sound and medicine. He will explain to all your questions in details even there are patients outside. I needed to do the operation to deliver my son. Comparing with the first operation of my elder daughter(another female doctor), his surgical skill was really excellant. The wound was not pain too much. I like him very much. Ha! He is handsome too. If you want to arrange booking, be eariler. Usually, one week advance booking is required.

(2)The annual gyne check up is around $650 including the speciman exam of cervical smear.
(3)I do not know the consultation fee for pre-pregnancy check because as I visited him five years ago, I had already confirmed pregnancy.
(4)The fee for antenatal check is $500. I could not remember the existing doctor's fee for baby delivery now. I saw the consultant fee list a few months ago which was kept in the nurse's place, around $25000 -28000 for Caesarean section. As for normal delivery, it is about $15000-20000. You may phone call the clinic and ask the nurse. She is very kind and helpful.
Dr. James Fung is really a nice doctor. I also got this message from the web site few years ago, many mothers strongly recommanded him.
Dr. Fung will advice you not to join the hospital package because it will be much cheaper. He is so kind that you can save a few thousand dollars of hospital fee. Usually most of the gynae doctors will ask you to join the package because the package charge and doctor's fee are charged separately. Eventhough you spend more money for the package fee, they will not border. They only concern the doctor's fee. They may think that who visits private doctor will not care about the hospital charges. So I think Dr. Fung is very nice.
