If you spotted that baby has red colour around mouth and face, it is possible that baby is allergic to carrot. You may try to avoid carrot or food that contains carrot.
Any food can be allergen and causing allergic reaction in babies. We all react differently towards different food/ chemicals/ insect bites/dust. Although vegetables are less likely to be allergen, they can still cause allergy to some babies.
When you let your baby trying a new food, try it for consecutive three days, starts with a small amount and gradually increasing amount to observe if there are any allergic reaction. Also to try only one new food at a time.
