My daughter is now 19 months, she drinks milk once in morning and once before bedtime, in the daytime she eat. Solid foods but when she drink the milk she can only drink 1/4 of recommended amount of milk for each time, seems she is starting to dislike to drink milk . What can I do to help her drink more milk?

When your daughter has established a three-meal eating pattern, solid food becomes her main source of nutrients. It reduces her demand for milk. Yet dairy products are still part of a balanced diet, and she needs two servings of milk ( 180-240ml per feed) each day. So you can consider adding milk to her daily diet such as having cereals/oatmeal in milk for breakfast, having cheese sticks as snack. Except milk, yoghurt, cheese, calcium fortified soy milk, dark green vegetables and hard tofu are also good source of calcium. If she has a balanced diet with the above suggested food, It is not necessary for you to make her drink more milk.
