Termination

Hi all,

I want to terminate my maid because she isn't suitable for me. Can I employ another one at the same time?

Yes, of course. You just state in relevant form that the maid you intend to employ is to replace the existing one.

"At the same time"...Is it meaning you will employ a new domestic helper and then terminate your present one after the new one is working for you???
If the answer is "YES", you should make sure you have finiancial ability to employ TWO domestic helper at the same time. Otherwise, you should terminate your present domestic helper then employ a new one.

Yes, I apply for a new Bun Bun from oversea and after she come to Hong Kong, I terminated contract with the Indonesia and paid her month salary as compensation. In your new application you mentioned replacement.

Hi Wudy,

Is that I terminate the previous one and apply for another one for replacement.

As I want to terminate the previous one reason is she is not suitable for my family, then I give her one month notice, and at the same time I will sign a new contract with another one. Can I do that?

Or, I can apply another one to replacement before terminate the previous maid?
