Normally, I resize graphic by Macromedia Fireworks MX. Which software do you install?

If it's an animated GIF, then IrfanView won't work.

Any free software that can be used to resize the photos?

And, any such software that can resize a batch of photos automatically to same size?

i.e. I have 20 photos placed on the same folder of 1M each. I would like to resize them to 300dpi width and height by ratio. But if not possible by ratio, any that can resize to 300 pixel * 400pixel?
