I think 90% of maid has the habit of stealing. I used to trust my maid (my 1st time hiring maid), then my 99 found out that $120 was stolen. After that, i keep my bedroom door closed, and she can't get in until she is told to do the clean up. Anyway, i still find out rice, etc was stolen...I think they know where to hide the things they steal, then deliver out of home on holiday...Now i will keep an eye on the things and let her know that I will check the stuff from time to time....Also, what yan yan's good is "always on phone".....

昨晚與印印食飯時談了很久, 她說第一天真的好驚, 好擔心, 因為她在朋友處聽了不小香港僱主的不好, 有些朋友已告訴她應如何對自己的僱主。 而我告訴她, 我的心情其實跟她一樣, 而且在網上也得知很多不好的helper故事, 網友也告訴了應如何對待helper。 我告訴她, 如果她是好的, 我一定不會對她差, 但如果她有什麼行差踏錯, 我一定即時解僱。假如有犯法行為,也會即時報警, 沒有機會可以比她。 她也點頭, 還告訴我, 她來是鑽錢的, 不是來找麻煩的。 經過這次談話, 起碼我覺得大家也安心了。雖然還是要用時間去觀察, 但起碼覺得問題好多時都是人云亦云, 欠缺溝通吧。 所以盡管你一天假期也不給她, 她也可從電話中在朋友裡學壞, 而且根本她們未到香港, 亦已學會怎樣可以壞, 只是她們有冇行動而已。
如果這個helper finally是不好的話, 我也會think of a domestic helper instead.
