i guess so, why not.. i don't think it will get any diff... but is he in HK now, or in UK? i thought they are asking for the "no Criminal record" proof for the last 24 months....or 5 yrs before the application . so if he had been in HK for over that period of time before application, then guess only the police certificate from HK is enough.... that's just my thought

It may take longer time to process in UK.
FYI anyone who lived any country more than 6 months, needed to get it from the country
I have lived in London for just 6 months, 15 years before. And I was requested to submit no criminal record from UK too. Don\'t worry, it took much faster than I thought. I think I got it in just 1 or 2 weeks. And UK will sent you email to let you know their process.
lucky i don't need to do all these things 10 yrs ago. or else will have to get lots of police reports from diff countries, as i used to second to other countries to work...
