Yes, after Aug, 08 properties price will change down, mostly gov't management high position already know the trend. Last Nov starting selling all the properties. This is true.
I can only said that don't think about gov't no land selling, and the low interest rate for long terms.

Living in 2-bedroom flat now, and planning to change to 3 bedrooms....I am observing when will be the right time.
Probably I plan to sell the flats on hand first. Collect CASH! Rent for 2 years, and then watch out for the price.
I believe the market price will stablize soon...no reasons to support the prevailing high property price.
If the property price continues to rise (that is out of my expectation), no harm, I still have cash on hand, I can rent a big flat. No need to rush coz I am still in my early 30+, property price won't be high all the times.
I am used to pay mortgage since I am 20+, and I get used to go through all the tough years....high interest rate, SARS, I am confident that I have the patient to wait...it's the golden rule for investment...if no patient, cannot play this game.
