Anyone has same situations and your baby's application approved and succeed to apply HKSAR passport can help?
I am HKPR, my husband is Malaysian Chinese, my baby was born in Malaysia, and we live in Malaysia. We are now in HK to try to apply for HKSAR passport, but first have to approve her HKPR identity.
I have some problems on filling form ROP145B (Supplementary Information for Application for Verification of Eligibility for Permanent Identity Card), http://www.immd.gov.hk/pdforms/rop145b.pdf
Q1. Had the applicant acquired a foreign nationality at the time he/she was born in a foreign country? --
Should I check yes? She is Malaysian right, I afraid it affects the application.
Q9. If the applicant did not acquire a foreign nationality at the time of his/ her birth in a foreign country, has he/ she subsequently been natuaralised as a national of a foreign country, or acquired the nationality of a foreign country of his/ her own free will? --
Should I check yes?
Q9 (vi) The purpose of stay in HK --
What should I write? Actually we came back and stay for 5 weeks to apply passport only
