I am a fresh mom with a baby of 2 month old. Can you suggest some books for take care and teaching for baby. And some book for the development stage of baby.
The Baby Book by Dr. William Sears and RN Martha Sears(registered nurse, his wife). They are parents of eight children. Very useful, clear, comprehensive and also interesting to read.
The book is about physical and mental development from birth to age two. What interests me most is the attachment approach to parenting. I practise it quite faithfully and my daughter turns out to be a pleasant and lovable child. Of course it might be her intrinsic temperament but I do believe I couldn't make it so successful without taking Dr Sears' valuable advice.
I read it during my pregnancy and re-read it every time when I need some good advice to solve specific problems. It never fails me. Highly recommended for new parents.
