1) communication problem due to bad English (improve English before going)
2) spoilt at home >>bad attitude to people ( teach them respect for others and smile more)
3) learn to be independent: learn to take care of himself/herself, washing laundry, ironing, simple cooking.
4) don't show off your talent or wealth (clothes, watch, shoes etc cannot be expensive name brands.
5) bullying and racism is to be expected, keep a low profile. Tell the teacher if someone hits you, otherwise shut your month on small tricks on you, eg. stripped your pyjamas while you are sleeping at night and throw you into the swimming pool (that happened to someone I know). Most students wear underwear to sleep and pajamas may not be common in some countries.
6) Make friends with other Chinese students, they can protect you in a fight
7) follow their culture, do what they do. Don't be the odd one out
