My current helper's contract is up for renew this coming June, and I am hesitating to sign the 2nd one with her (she is a bunbun).
Good things:
-she is kind to my kids, and both of them do like her
-she plays with my kids, and teaches them words and songs
-very flexible in terms of holiday, day-off and working hours
Bad points:
-terrible in cleaning and cooking
-not enough energy, and easily get sick (she's already 53)
-always says yes in front of me, but if I am not watching, she does the same old things that I told her not to
-my 2nd boy always get sick because he sleeps with her in the same room, and he is too attached to her
-Eat the expensive food that I buy it only for the kids when I am not watching
-too talkative, and a bit nosy(very eight)
-I am currently paying her quite a high salary, and pay her double the money when I need her to work on her day-off
-Always pass the workload to the other helper (I have 2 bunbun), and avoiding works that she doesn't like to do
My concern is that my 2nd son is really attached to her, and he is 20-month old, I am worrying that he might have hard time to adjust without her around.
