My baby has been sleeping thru the night in the past few weeks (last feeding = 11pm, sleep = 12:30am - 6am). Yet last night, she woke up at 3am. What should I do? I did feed her milk but she only took 3 oz then went back to sleep and woke up at 8am this morning.
Question: Should I just feed her water?
Or should I not feed her at all?
Or should I keep feeding her milk?
Has someone encounter this before? Will the baby go back to needing night feeding after a few weeks of sleeping thru the night? Can someone share their experience?
My baby had quited night feeding since two months old.
I also encountered same problem twice around his eight months and ten months. I fed him water and he went back to sleep until morning in the first time. The second time I did the same thing but he still cried. Then I fed him with milk and he went back to sleep.
Actually, he did not go back to night feeding. This situation did not happen consecutively.
Hi hch,
I am glad that you have told me about your experience. I hope this is just occasional. So you have not encountered this between 2 months - 8 months? Also, what was your baby's sleeping hours when he first quit night feeding? Did the hours extend longer gradually?
Hi smallping,
So in between 3 months and 6 months, this did not happen? My worry is, my baby is still young, I am worried that she's going backwards ar....
