潔癖 ..
not only
not allow maid to wash her underwear by washing machine
but also
need to wash her hand, foot after go out

how u train your maid ar?

I don't think this is 潔癖 ..wor...

I also train my maid this way too. Because they always wear flip-flops when going out, so I need her to wash her feet and hands after go out.

Also to change her bedsheet at least once a week.

now i propose to ask her to change clothes when go out
that is
one set of clothes at home ,
the other set for going out

because
she need to hold my BB
i cant believe her clothes were not contaminated when going out

That's exactly what we do - a different set of clothes for home & feet washing after going out.

I'm thinking of hiring a fulltime maid, and am thinking of polite but effective ways to train her.

It's really encouraging to find out that other moms also have the same hygiene standards as mine. :) Now I only have a parttime helper, but I think the following steps in training a helper could also be useful in training a fulltime maid --

- explain to her the reason behind a rule so that the rule makes sense, e.g. her feet will bring dust onto the floor

- remind her from time to time for the first few weeks

- if she's still not following the rule, stick a "friendly reminder" at your doorway

Not only to wash her hands and feets but also her face because she is so close to my 寶貝. I'm now thinking to ask my agent to tell my next maid not to wear flip-flops to HK. Will it be unreasonable or is it possible? Any good advice?

for me i choose b
but my shoes are dirtym and i carry dirty stuff to my floor at home

I choose a!
All of us must be take off the shoes under any
situation! Even though my girl is 4 years old!
That's the right thing that the dirt from the shoes
will carry on the floor!
My husband always said that I'm a 潔癖's mum!
I told my maid that I'm潔癖's mum whn I interview with her!
She must be follow all of my instrustion to do the
cleaning work!
For example:
1.出街/落街一定要換衫,不可著屋企衫
2.如果只係落樓下接放學、買餸,回家一定要洗手洗腳
3.去街(遠少少、或要搭車),回家後一定要冲涼
4.如果去完街後未能立即冲涼,不准四圍走,尤其睡房
5.學校/圖書館借回來的書,書的底面要用火酒清潔好
6.街外用品(書包、圖書、紙袋、手袋....)不准放於床上
7.去街時,所有袋(包括膠袋、紙袋、手袋)不准放在地上
8.如果曾放過於地上的膠袋要掉咗佢或反轉用來裝垃圾
至於紙袋就要用火酒消潔才放好..
9.在屋企掂過"錢"都要立即清手
10.我不太喜歡招呼朋友回家,一但真係有人到訪過/維修人員
來過,就要用火酒清潔sofa,remote,handle,toilet....邊度佢
地有機會掂過就噴邊度, carpet 及抹手布要換過!

**一有訪客來之前,我會將sofa上所有的cushion及公仔
放晒入房,不准人入房坐.........以前未有工人時,d人一走
我就有排做,at least 2hrs.!
其實呢d叫"強迫性行為"~做嘅過程(清潔)係唔開心嘅,
但唔做又唔得,有時做完都好似未係好安心咁! :-(

係咪潔癖得好緊要呢?

唔知冇記錯呢?

呢個問題我都同你一樣,無得點攪,唯有有時自己勤d用火酒
噴下個廁板,so far都ok,我女就用兒童廁板,即加塊soft嘅
廁板比佢cup上去坐lor.....
不過我果個係賓,我見佢自己都好衞生,又用香體露,又用護墊
每日冲涼洗頭2次之類......

So have you receive any comments/ complains from
your husband?
Especially when I go to hospital/clinic, I will try my
best not to touch anything in there! Also, I will use the tissue to press the button in there!
