Trixie steps lively as she goes on an errand with her daddy, down the block, through the park, past the school, to the Laundromat. For the toddler, loading and putting money into the machine invoke wide-eyed pleasure. But, on the return home, she realizes something. Readers will know immediately that her stuffed bunny has been left behind but try as she might, (in hilarious gibberish), she cannot get her father to understand her problem. Despite his plea of "please don't get fussy," she gives it her all, bawling and going "boneless." They both arrive home unhappy. Mom immediately sees that "Knuffle Bunny" is missing and so it's back to the Laundromat they go. After several tries, dad finds the toy among the wet laundry and reclaims hero status. Yet, this is not simply a lost-and-found tale. The toddler exuberantly exclaims, "Knuffle Bunny!!!" "And those were the first words Trixie ever said."

Personalities are artfully created so that both parents and children will recognize themselves within these pages. A seamless and supremely satisfying presentation of art and text.

Worth finding it out for the very good comments by reviewers. Not yet avail library.. Keep an eye on this.

This grand and hilarious farce by Shannon (No David! ) is irresistible! The story is told by its star - an adorable, precocious, preschooler with a fanciful imagination who believes she's a fairy! Accordingly, her blond curls are topped with a tiara, she wears strap-on wings, and wields a magic wand. Admittedly, she's only a "Temporary" fairy because she hasn't passed all of the magic tests or attended "Advanced Fairy School" - prerequisites to "

ermanent' fairyhood. Alice exuberantly demonstrates her current array of tricks in loosely drawn, humorous, child-like illustrations. This includes "changing" her dad "into a horse" (having him give her a ride on his back), making herself "disappear" (by turning off the lights or hiding under her blanket), and "turning" her "oatmeal into cake" with "fairy dust" (sugar). She even tries unsuccessfully to do advanced tricks like making her "dog float on the ceiling" or her "clothes get up off the floor and dance around and line up in the closet." She must also protect herself from the "wicked Duchess" (Mom) who once "locked [her] in the tower" (her room) and might to "poison" her with broccoli.

Highly recommended for ages 2 to 6.

I'd finished watching 大長今 (unabridged Mandarin version) 3 months ago. Very good content!!

btw, I need to spend almost a month's time (night time only esp mid night) to watch!!

Since then I get used to sleep so late la...

I like 大長今 too, but I didn't watch the first half.

Che: You may choose a preferrable shipping, if you insist insurance, speedy - that must be expensive la. Cost varies by weight. I usually ask the seller to check for me. That's why I recommended to contact the seller first. In fact, you may check the US postal website.

Have just bought a Roald Dahl book (at HK$22.5 net)from CW last night:
