you want to learn driving? i also want to learn! because it is too difficult and trouble to take my son to nursery in rainy days.you know the weather here, always dark, cold, windy,and raining.i have to carry my daughter in a baby carrier and put my son in a pushchair to take him to nursey.it is really hard work. as my girl gets bigger and heavier,it is more difficult for me! :-|

hi, i didn't booked the tickets very early, just 2 weeks ago.it costs me 367 for adult, 270 for child and 83 for infant.
from sing tao newspaper,you can try biritish airways chinese travel center tel;0870 608 8880or go asia travel tel:08700 339 888/0207 242 7007 and omega 0870 770 6869 they all do cheaper tickets.

I also bought a 2nd hand manual car 2 weeks ago. I hv got my driving licence in hkg and i have driven for around 3 years b4 i came here. Of course, I drive automatic car in hkg so, i also asked my friend to introduce an old caucasian lady to teach me..for only 4 hours. I totally agree that it is really miserable to bring yr baby to nursery without a car. that 's also the only reason that i need a car here (even i will stay here for only 1 year). i live very close to the nursery, only 10mins walk, i have tried to call taxi b4, their min charge is 7 pounds for return journey.. however, the driver never comes in time, becoz i need to pick up my daughter at 5pm. they also blackface to me quite often and comes late (15 mins-45mins!)without any apologies.. i cant put up with the life pushing my daughter to school everyday, my hands are freezing and my pants are all wet.....
however, i could not control my car very well at the moment, 1. it is a manual car. 2. it is an old car, no power steering wheel.. my car caught out in the road very often... hopefully, i could control it better in the coming days...anyway, it is still better than living here without a car.

唔係化? Van仔容易過私家車 ?-( ??? 我就係知Van仔牌難, 先學私家車auto咋喎, 我係最無大志架喇, 嘻嘻! 我有牌大約4年幾咋, 不過我年輕時在UK都有揸吓大膽車(千祈唔好學我咁曳吓), 如果唔係我老公o果時買咗架車, 我都唔會去學呀, 不過始終有車牌係方便d嘅! 起碼我而家鍾意時都可以客串揸吓嘛!

講明先吓, 我揸車d技術超c, 如果妳有問題歡迎隨時發問, 我轉問我老公架, 因為佢手車好過我多多呢!

As I knew (10 years ago), 私家車容易pass than van, because the accident rate of Van was very high, so the examiner wouldn't let you pass easily.

But if you tried to compare both 'Maual 私家車' and 'Van, 'van' not easy to 死火, because of the power. (I heard from someone many years ago, i'm not sure it is true) ?-(

I will return to hk in Sept and i live in CWB.

Is there any mommies whose daughter is attending nursery in UK? I think the fee here is unreasonable expensive...

my maid is the luckiest person here. she could sleep early, earn more than in hk...unfortunately, i could not think of anything for her to do for more than 3 hours a day.
