好在行度成身汗唔係肥C

我今個星期決定自已整來食

另外我又係煲書囉!
因圖書館好多新書呀!
有大S美容大王 ,李碧華,陶傑
仲有好多英文書
不過我主要看營養學的書
因我決定等細女返學後 go back to school ar
我想讀'營養師"
希望成功啦
不過我老公和屋企人話我讀時裝好d因我鐘意衫

my husband's cousin 又係人中意fashion, 年年summer 都去 american eagle 做sales...而家佢入左uc davis 讀textile (因為冇fashion design 呢科), 佢想做時裝買手 (merchandiser). 如果你想讀完書搵工就睇下邊D工易搵plus你有興趣.

i want to study child development and psychology...do anyone knows if there is any distance learning or online degree program offered? 最好係D好少少既u 啦, 我check 過好似冇乜. 一係就係D我唔識既u

If I remember right, UCSF external (they have campus in different area, e.g. Santa Cruz)has child development courses, they have a few units and it's a part-time course, either take class at the evening or Saturday. I read those information couple of years ago when I thinking to open a daycare at my home. I drop the idea lately.

不過, BNO 都幾快做好..一個月唔駛, 我前幾日就收到..不過, 亞仔個passport 就未得,因為漏左我地既photocopies..
我都聽人講,依家香港,d 人既意識水平, 下降左..希望唔係啦.依家又話食淡水魚,可能引至cancer..都好驚囉. 一陣引話魚,一陣又話雞,一陣又話豬..真係返到香港,亞仔都唔知食乜囉. :tongue:

估唔到亞仔無見daddy 十日,都仲記得佢.. 今日夜晚,老公返屋企..我正在餵緊亞仔, 點知亞仔一聽到佢把聲, 就係咁好大聲咁叫" hmmm, matt"..咁老公就係間房咁叫" mini-matt". 咁佢地一唱一和咁, 都好好笑..到最後,我老公抱住佢就話" 你唔可以叫我matt 架,你要叫daddy, 或者 my dearest father.( 聽到都想 :tongue: ) "

老公返左屋企未呀? 問左邊一組得勝呀? 我老公禽日,老公成點半先返到屋企,佢話比我知有好多traffic.. 佢仲話我好煩到佢要早d 走 (八點),所以要係freeway 等..

以我所知 " child development" 中,會讀埋 psychology (不過,只係讀有關children 個part), 唔知你係唔係諗住只係全讀 psychology 呢?

My hubby's cousin is a fashion designer in Paris. He went to study there just to get into the industry. When he first graduated, he worked at Legerfeld and Hermes. Now, he's designing accessories for Kenzo. He said that industry is very competitive and a lot of politics

For online course, have you looked at University of Pheonix, I know that emphasize on evening and online programs.

Which restaurant do you go to for the "chili wonton". We usually go to "Q noodles". I think studying to be nutritionist is really good, many ppl are health consciuos now....good business. If you like fashion, I think there are more opportutnities in NY. Most of the department store merchandising depts are out of NY. I actually did some research cuz I really like that industry too :-P :-P

How cute of Mini-matt to call his daddy by his first name. Did you figure out Mini-Matt's chinese name yet? Natalie only knows her daddy by daddy and "lo gung"...

Hi all:
Clarice had her 2 mos old check up on Sun. She now weights 13lbs 8oz

23 inches long

she had the first 2 shots on that day, no fever but cranky these two nights but still able to sleep well, both her chubby thighs were swelling a bit though :cry:, her brother never has any reaction when he was little and from what I remembered he only had 1 dose of tynenol for the vaccinations from birth till 4 years old, maybe is the girl

can't tolerate the pain much and so far I had given her 2 doses of tynenol, now she is okay. Hope this is the 1st time she has the shots and had reactions and she will be fine next time cuz there is a long run to go baby
(more shots until 1 year old)

Clarice has the hair shaved off already on Sun. :-| Well, my son got very little hair when he was born and he did have much more now after we had shaved off his hair for couple of times till he was 2. For Clarice I will only do once ,at least we tried right?anyway she seems like she should have more hair coming out because I can see there is quite a few "mo mo" on her head. :mrgreen: you sure feel bad la, Valarie did that when she was 7 mos old, too old for girls to be bold head la, did you buy a lot of hats for her then? I think girls and boys are different, does she has more new hair now?

I envy so much you guys are planning for trips! I really looking for one, arrrrrhhh, but Clarice is too little to go on one now and Clarence is going to attend pre-K in Sept. we will have to go on trips when the school is closed in the future la, (that's mean peak season, crowed with people and expensive hotels and airlines fares) so enjoy while you guys still having one kid now and they are not at the schooling age yet.

My computer didn't online a few days and my hubby helped it recovery. heee.... I think I already lazy not to boil Chinese soup a long time, so I decide to boil " mo fa fruit soup " at 2:30pm. The "mo fa fruit" is fresh from tree, so it is very sweet!

You went to Torrence for dinner after our gathering. What kind of dishes did you family ate? If we want to eat kind of Asian food ( korean, Japan & Chinese ), we also choice Torrence, because it is close my place. Torrence is also we consider to move location, but we consider the traffic in the morning. Finally, we choice the place close office.

Did you miss your "Big Fat Man" ah? heee...... Today, I begin to find myself, to look for be a improve housewife. Boil soup, and re-organise my pantry. And also I boil congee for our lunch ( my girl and me )

Your little one has good - no fever. You can use warm towel to massage her thighs. My friend always did when her kids got a shot. I saw NY gathering photo too! You look great! I believe your mom treat you a " Queen " la! ha.....

Do you want go back to school? You must have " ready your mind " - you will very busy for the assigements and tests. I had a major " Nutrition" when I carried my girl. I only took 1 class in that period, but I need go 3 - 4 evening a week ( including lab ) It was very exhausted and test frequenty. I think your hubby must help your house chores or consider a helper to cook.

I think the food at the Walnut Tea Station is not as good as the one in Hacienda Height

Q Noodle is in the Sam Woo plaza, it's 2 stores from the video store. They have the "chili wonton" and it's good :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: You are such a dedicated mom. I will be very proud of myself if I can stay as full time mom until Natalie goes to preschool :-P :-P :-P

We went to Spoon House in Torrance after we left Long Beach. It's a Japanes style spaghetti house. They have dishes like Torako...very yummy :lol: :lol: :lol: How far is your house from Torrance, they have a Japanese Market (Marukai) and a Chinese market (99 Ranch) there. Do you shop at those places? Jada was such a good "big sister" to Natalie. She was so gentle and mellow...didn't do anything to "ha" Natalie

I think we have to make a lot of vacation adjustments since Natalie was born. I have only taken road trips with her. At first, I wanted to do a Caribbean cruise in florida, but I don't want her to endure the 5 hr flight to florida so now we are going to the 7-day mexican riveria cruise. I hope she won't get sea sick

I really want to go to HK too and I don't know when that can happen

u're so nice to think abt the b-day party for valarie so early. if u're having catering service in the park or something, u can ask the catering company abt it.

do u wanna get a degree in child development/psychology, and what kind of degree? do u wanna study it just for fun/interest or u wanna pursue yr future career in that area. for psychology, usually it requires PhD or PsyD or at least Master degree at work (i hv friend in that area).
also, would u consider taking the distance-learning programs from a foreign college? it might take shorter time to get a graduate or post-graduate degree in U.K. (only 1 yr for master, and u might go straight to PhD from Bachelor if u're qualified). i hv several friends who're taking the distanced doctorate program from U.K. but most of them were born in Macau (and EC citizens) so they paid for local student rate for tuition.

it seems to be that some online universities in US are so-called "wild chicken univeristies", especially for the ones that're so "commercial". so, be careful when u're choosing a college.

i'm so tired today. i've been "played" by sean the whole day ... this morning he hit another kid in the park again, so i brought him home immediately to punish him. he kept crying out loud for over 1/2 hour. then, he started a new trick to us when we tried to ask him to drink soup. he said "give it to me. let me drink it myself". however, when he just pretend to put the bowl towards his lips (without making any sound), quickly he pour it all out to the floor, chair, etc.
then, he jumped into the shower when his dad in it. so, he's all wet. when i tried to change him, he kept running away from me and said "no way, no way!" (in English). we never said "no way" in front of him. so, i guess, again he picked up from the older kids in the park.

sigh ... i've completely lost confidence looking for a good nanny (and making her stay). i hv a feeling that i might not be able going back to work until he turns 3.

Hi all,

Haven't been here for a while, hope all of you are doing good. Me, doing much better with my depression now. When I saw my OB for the 6 weeks check-up, my husband mentioned to her that I had depression. Of course, she asked me how bad my depression was and said one of the solution was taking antidepressant drugs. We didn't want to go that route as I was breastfeeding. Then, she suggested that birth control pills might help too. So, we finally decided to try the birth control pills. After taking it for 2 weeks, I haven't cried at all.

Actually, I really don't know if I should eat that, but it really helps.

Anyway, I want to ask everyone for suggestion on my issue here. I KNEW, I REALLY KNEW this's not a serious problem. They are not treating me bad or anything, but I just can't stand on living with my parents-in-law any more.

How do I (or I should say "my husband") ask them to move out of the house? The problem is that my husband is the only son and his sister lives in OH that they can't move to there (because they are getting benefits from CA that they can't get it in OH). Also, they can't afford to live on their own, except getting the senior housing from the government.

I mean HOW to ask them to move in a nice way?
