My colleague told me that her maid also quit to work in Canada. The salary offered in Canda is very high and all maids who are U-graduate with one (?) year of working experience is eligible to apply. Is it correct?

Hi morning, Hoi Mun honey, actually the fees is around $30000-35000, so that's why they loan money from finance. My agent told me that some of them they no need to submmit the reference letter, cos some of the Canada immigration think about that the bun already paid money to the agent is very poor. That's why they approve the visa for the pk bun.
yes, the salary in Canada is more like CAD1,200 (which is equivalent to HK$8,760 at the current exchange rate). They only work 40 hours a week, meaning only 8 hours every Mon-Fri. So if they start at 9am in the morning, they will finish work by 5pm and the employer has no right to ask her to do any more work for the rest of the evening. Plus they get both Sat and Sun off so that they can do part-time to make even more money. They can also bring their whole family over after 2 years and their kids can enjoy the education there.
My maid always complain about her HK pay shrinking due to falling US$ against Peso. I am prepared that she will leave one day. If I were them, I will go too.
