Luckily, I'm not british citizen yet. I called the immigration department and they asked me to send them the settlement visa I have to UK.

If she couldn't get a HKID, can she buy insurance here in HK?

如果你同你老公係英國公民,而你的子女係英國出世,係拿唔到香港passport, 除非你係原居民, 係o個時要去英國某生而你係英國公民的子女先可以拿到, 不過97年之後都好少會再有咁既情況啦, 我姪囡92年係英國出 ...

I called immigration dept the other day. The guy said he will send me a form to fill in.

Hopefully, it's OK. otherwise, we may need to go back to uk :cry:

其實如果bb有濕疹，餵人奶係有幚助架，但係我就唔會建議搽太多lotion，因為濕疹皮膚最緊要通爽，所以醫生開類固醇都會有一個drying effect，好多人奶媽媽都會日常吱多少少奶係消毒棉上面，輕輕同bb ...

no worry, if there's anything you can't get a good answer from them, maybe I can help as I have a friend who works in Immi under the nationality dept.

If you are not yet a UK citizen and still hold a HK passport, there shouldn't be any reason why your daughter cannot obtain HK citizenship.

我個swing又唔太覺有問題wor，你如果重有單係度，可以攞上佢地尚健醫療中心叫佢地同你check下。至於塊membrane，有d媽媽就話都換得幾密，我自己就兩部機到而家都只係換左一塊（仲要係因為工人洗時唔小心沖走左，但係個黃色活塞就兩部機都換左。　塊membrane係需要蓋晒成個活塞面，咁先可以做到個真空効應，保持吸力，個sales同你講話check下係因為好多時用耐左，塊membrane會有少少”hill"起，傘唔晒個valve，就會少左吸力。

你睇下係咪因為塊membrance係咁而少左力，又或都可能係裝塊membrance時蓋得唔夠實，如果你要換塊membrance，我有多係度，因為買d valves時要一pack買，個pack入面６塊我都冇用過，你可以pm地址我寄比你啦。

Since I'm not working yet, I need to buy a hospital and out-patient insurance for my baby. Even thought we have travel insurance from UK but it will only last for 31 days...

Also, I need to buy a life insurance as well as saving for her as well. Need to plan ahead.

A friend of mine working in manulife and he told me that she may not be able to buy insurance if she's not HK resident. Need to submit the application for her residency and see lor.

I saw the breastfeeding program. I agreed that HK government need to promote more on this. When I was in UK, everyone is breastfeeding. Hospital didn't provide bottle, we must breastfeed the baby when it is born.

More importantly, UK government makes you feel you are a bad mother if you are not breastfeeding....

Yes lor. I'm still HK citizen. If my baby can't get HK residency, I will go to the headquarters of HK government. Same as the mainland Chinese mother:tongue:

I will not go back to UK. I will go back to work once Nivana is settled.

When are you free after 17July since yatjeh will finish sitting moon after 17?

Or you can come to my place anytime. I live in mei foo so you can take western rail. Is it?
