From the list of documents required by the Indo Consulate, the former (old) contract is one of the items which you need to submit to the Indo Consulate.

So HinHinMa has to get hold of the "old" contract from the agent if the agent didn't return her a copy at the time the Indo DH was first employed.

Yes, your own copy of the "old" Indo DH contract will do.

I think the Indo Consulate want a copy for reference only, so that they don't need to search their own records, and so that they know who the "old" agent was. Your copy is the same as the Indo DH's own copy and the agency's copy.

The "old" copy will be returned to you together with the set of "new" DH contract.

我朋友想請我完約的印印, 我可以自己叫朋友及印印去攪手續嗎? 因為朋友急需工人, 而Agent說香港法例可做滿23月终止合約. 而轉約比朋友一定要我這邊完了約才可攪手續. 大約需時3至4星期. 我都唔係幾明點解要咁耐. 工人只可住在Agent處. 想問問自己同朋友去攪手續會否快些? 可否在未完約前去申請. 我會PM e-mail給妳, 麻煩妳可否給我詳盡資料? 謝謝幫忙. (印印passpost在我處)

Your friend CANNOT 自己辦手續請你個完約印印，因為是轉約，並非續約。
其餘一切，個agent最熟。並且賺梗你朋友的$, 這種情形下不會留難你們。你朋友唯一可做的，是取得HK Immigration Dept 的印印申請no. 後親自+寫信狂追Imm. Dept 盡快批DH working visa.
