Yes, MMR is a live attenuated vaccines (VS an inactivated preparations of the virus for influenza vaccine) and that's why you will expect a mild form of the disease after injection.

Regarding signs to observe post-vaccination:
fever or a skin rash - about a week after vaccination and lasting about 2-3 days;
red, swollen, tender and painful injection site

Regarding egg allergy:
There is increasing evidence that MMR vaccine can be given safely even when the child has had an anaphylactic reaction to egg.
My opinion is that testing your baby allergic status to egg will certainly do more benefit than harm before vaccination, especially if any adverse reactions do arise, you can be certain it is something other than the egg that's causing the problem. I do see children with egg allergy admitted to the hospital I work in to have MMR vaccination but I still haven't found out what's the procedure, but I think if any baby with egg allergy, just raise this issue to your Dr or nurse at MCH, I am sure they will have a routine handling procedure.

ppl said the effect of MMR injection at 1 yr old is usually quite great becoz the vaccine is made of live attenuated viruses (sth like deactivated viruses) ...

This MMR vaccine is offered by 健康院 at 1 year old so you don't have to get the vaccine from private clinic.

小叭係06年12月5日出世時重3.23kgs,1個月4.55kgs,2個月6.40kgs,3個月7.72kgs,4個月8.20kgs,5個月8.80kgs, 6個月10.00kgs, 7個月9.55kgs, 8個月10.00kgs, 9個月10.16kgs, 10個月10.45kgs, 11個月10.91kgs
