要出差4日, BB 都可以食儲備＋奶粉!

但, 會谷奶啊! 咁係唔係帶奶泵出差, 按時泵奶?
咁...泵出來的奶雪冰, 但又點帶返香港呀?
抑或泵出來唔要呀? 你地會點做啊?!

I hv posted the details abt. this before may be in August or Sept 07 but could not find.

Yes, you bring back some chilled milk for short trip becuase the chilled milk can be kept for consumption in 3 days. You need to bring the Fridge-to-go and keep them in the freezer of the hotel when you arrive (ask them to keep for you at a colder fridge).

Then you can pump your milk and put them in the hotel's fridge by use to "double milk bags" i.e. one bag inside another (boots milk bag). When you leave the hotel, You keep the milk in fridge-to-go, then wrap the fridge-to-go in layers and write "Breast Milk, Don't open, fragile..." clearly on the wrappings and wrap the fridge-to-go by your clothes to avoid breaking in the 寄倉 luggage. It will come back to HK safely. You can tell the counter of the airline you hv some breast milk and tell them to be "gentle' with your luggage.

My exp. was at Shanghai and Chung Qing.

I also went to Shanghai 2 weeks ago. But my trip was only 2 days. I brought all my pumps (1 Medela Pump-in-Style advanced with 3 pairs of pump funnels, 6 storage bottles and several milk bags, 1 Avent hand pump with an 8 oz bottle). And because it is a short trip, I have enough equipment I don't need to worry about sterilizing.

I pumped before I left the house in the morning. Upon arriving Shanghai, I pumped at my office at 3pm and put the milk in the office freezer. Then at night, at the hotel, I pumped at 11pm and asked the hotel to put it in their freezer for me. The next morning, I pumped at 7am. Then I checked out of the hotel, together from the milk from 11pm and 7am and went to the office and put them in the freezer also. I wrapped all of them in plastic food bags, 2 layers, put them in the cooler bag with the ice packs, and put them in the middle of the luggage, and checked in the baggage. At the airport after I cleared customs, I used my handpump to pump one more time at around 2:30pm before boarding the plane. Then I hand carried the milk (in a cooler bag) on the plane and asked the stewardess to keep it cool for me. I can keep all my milk during this trip

But if you are on a trip for 4 days, probably you cannot keep all of them. And also you need to think about how to sterilize the pumps and bottles. I think next time, if I need to go for a longer trip, may be I will ask a colleague in that country, who has children and go to her house to boil the bottles.

Or buy some microwave sterilizing bags and use the microwave at the office in those countries.

How many day of your trip?
But how to sterillzing your pump??
Can be boiling water for sterillzing in hotel?

I put the funnel inside the boiler of the hotel to sterilize. Luckily the boiler is big enough. You may bring an electric boiler (travel type) by yourself or use the sterilize tablets or microwave sterilizing bag (I hv never used them before).

但係酒店好少會有"冰格" / "冰櫃", 咁點keep住o的milk?????

You give them to keep the fridge-to-go for you in their restaurants' freezer once you arrive the hotel. You take it out for keeping the milk when you leave the hotel.

For the chilled milk, I just keep them in the fridge of the hotel room. But if you think it is not cold enough, you need to ask the hotel to keep for you too.

chicco 有一隻清潔液係唔洗過水, 我係公司都係用佢, 只要浸半個鐘就可以消毒.

另外都可以買一些 "藥丸" 既消毒片, 係 for 出 trip 用的, 都係唔洗過水.

我早幾日都有出 trip 返大陸, 係酒店時就叫酒店幫我放入佢0地既雪櫃, 離開酒店時我覺得個 Fridge-to-go 唔係好凍, 我就問酒店拎了一些冰倒晒入去, hand carry 返香港 (搭火車)，返到屋企仲好凍呀!

I don't have a fridge to go, but I use a Medela insulated carry case. After I pumped my milk, I put in the carry case and asked the hotel in Shanghai to store in the freezer for me. The next morning, I realize the milk is not completely frozen yet (more like Slurpee from 7-11), and I thought the hotel's freezer had a problem. Later I realized that actually if I put in the insulated carry case, the cold air in the freezer cannot penetrate into it and that's why it won't freeze properly.

I will try something different next week, I'm going to Shanghai again.

我會去泰國, 好怕O個O的洒店無咁好服務;

咁PUMP出黎O的奶就放O係ROOM既雪櫃就OK?

全中. 不過穩陣起見,入雙重奶袋,即將貯了奶的奶袋再放入另一個奶袋中. Boots OK嫁.

走時時再用毛巾及膠袋放入Fridge-to-go以防漏出, 然後用衣服厚厚包住Fridge-to-go放在行李箱中間位置(面頭寫著Breast Milk, do not open),便可寄倉.飛機放行李的地方好凍,有助貯奶. Check in 時counter同空姐單聲.
