french onion soup
1. Chop 300g of onion and mix with 2tbsp of flour.
2. Heat 50g of butter in pan and sauté onion until golden brown.
3. Add onion into 500ml of beef stock and simmer for about 30 mins.
4. Add 200ml of red wine, season with pepper.
5. Place soup in a bowl, top with 2 pieces of French bread and 1tbsp of Parmesan cheese. Bake in pre-heated oven at 200°C for 10-15 mins until golden brown.
