上年我帶媽媽 (visitor) 去看感冒, 醫生 (Richmond hill, ON) 收約CAD50-60, 買藥另要幾十元.

我們要經家庭醫生轉介才可約專科醫生的, 我想專科醫生不會收非加拿大人的.

Landing 時不知, 不過我99 來探我們時帶過一大盒香港醫生開的不同種類的平安藥給我們看屋喎.
我有同事是中東人, 父母在中東是醫生, 他家裏都有很多藥由中東帶來.

所以我估應沒問題

Depends on which province you live.

In BC, we pay around $60-70 per month as BC medical insurance. But then no need to pay at doctor visits.
In Ontario, medical fees are included in the taxes paid. No need to pay at doctor visits.

If you plan to land in PEI, as you mentioned in another post, you may check their provincial government website for details.

to my understanding, PEI is trying to implement the same system as BC in July 2015, that's need to pay a premiumn in order to join the provincial medical plan
