Wow~~My two kids have many classmates living there also. If I were you, I would be proud of living there! Anyway, it's no longer my days already, I am now living in Yat Tung Estate, which is quite far from MTR station.
And, when government allocated the flat to me, the first thing I considered is the school for my son, and I was glad to found "靈糧堂秀德小學" which is a very good school (even some non-Tung Chung parent recommended it as it is famous further to many media's interviews), so I take the flat immediately when the headmaster confirm acceptance of my son's application (to P.4).
Little_cy, I also recommend this school to your daughter. web-site: http://www.llcst.edu.hk/
My daughter is now 2.5 too. I've applied Sunshine and ESF. I've visited Sunshine twice during the school hours. I think it's nice as the children are happy. They didn't have principal before, they just had a distric officer to look after the school . But this year they have employed a Chinese lady from USA as the principal. And they have 3 nursary classes, one k1 and one k2.
For local school, I have also visited those kindergarten near Fu-tung market. I think the one at the Chinese restaurant floor (I forget the school name) is better. There's a nice environment. I chose international schools for my little one because my husband used to work abroad. But you can also visit those schools before making up you mind.
