So sin mo u can travel to Paris and buy the bag in a lower price.

I know that they sometimes have one or two 30cm Lindy bags at the shops in HK, but they may not be the colors you want though. However, if you travel to Europe, you will find much more stock there.

I travel to Europe for work sometimes so I get to visit the shops there.

Yes I use the 30cm Lindy almost everyday now these days, as I often need to have my hands free to handle the kids!

I also need a shoulder bag to handle my kid, i cannot afford to use 1 hand to carry the Birkin, too luxury for me! That's why i still like to use Chanel bag as most are shoulder carry...

I will go and take a look at Lindy bag, seems a good alternative than a Birkin.

Why do you like a 40cm? Will it be a bit big?
I just know a 35cm Birkin from USA is US$8,950 (before tax). I don't know the price for 40cm though.

I tried 35cm in Milan shop, but my hubby think it was a bit small on me. He think 40cm will be more cool with my height-and of course it will be much more heavier.

Dark chocolate w/ sliver HW, wait for 2 months, as my friend get it for me (she's VIP).

As far as I know, the price is gone up again, so it may be cheaper if you get it from those xx station, as they bought from overseas.

I was sooooo happy that i just received my new Evelyne bag in tan colour which bought by my sis in London. The salesgirl saying that it is a NEW style and even don't have it in HK shop now.

I love it very much because I'm not a working mom, this bag is very suitable for my daily use. You can carry it across the body with a adjustable canvas strap. The strap of old style is a bit short so u only can carry on the shoulder.

I'm really really happy arrrrrr

hehe, pls post your pic here la! so happy for u! I have an evelyne too, in brighton blue, without pocket at the back (as it's abt 2k HKD cheaper). The strap is long, to shorten it, I bought a twilly scarf. This is the bag I use the most as it's very casual looking. I use it everywhere, even to trips.

Sorry, i don't know how to upload pic ar......:cry: I agreed with you, i also got a Garden Party as well, but when u comare them, Evelyne is very practical that u can use it everyday. Especially the new style of Evelyne have a pocket at the back and with a long strap too.

And.....the reason i buy this bag is because the price is really cheap. My sis bought a Croco Lindy 30, it just 15,000 pounds (in HK it cost around 230,000！)

So, i suggest if anyone want to buy Hermes bag, its better to buy it in England cos the pounds are very low now !!!

wow! croc Lindy? yummy yummy. is it matte croc or shiny croc? i love matte croc as it looks very trendy and versatile.

i bot my garden party during my pregnancy, used as a nappy bag. some people bought Victoria as nappy bag which is nice (but much more expensive). haven't seen people using Victoria in HK though. have been seeing people using Lindy lately (incl many celebrities on magazines).

anyway, Hermes is way too expensive now as compared to a few years ago which I started my super small collection. so maybe have to forget abt it at this moment until I have $ to spend when travelling overseas.

just read online newspaper, seems that Hermes prices haven't gone up too much this year and the last. there's a matte croc lindy too, maybe the price is the same as in Europe?

Mangeoire price has gone up 20% as compared to 2 years ago. This was one of the bags I quite like but did not buy it. It looks nice and cute with a H scarf going thru the holes.

anyone using JPG Birken? or the new Shoulder Kelly? are they good? any heavy? Or the 40cm Birken which u can also put on shoulder?

there's an official Hermes website, but not much product info u can find there:

So Kelly is a shoulder style Kelly bag, shape is like Evelyne, just below 50k which is cheaper than a Kelly. I read a magazine that Hermes has actually launched a shoulder Kelly (wider with a longer handle) which costs 70k, it looks quite funny to me, like JPG Birkin. I prefer Birkin or Kelly, not 'modified version'.
