如果剛到Edmonton 需要準備幾多錢去租樓, (一個大人加小孩),有無廣東話嘅學車師傅，有無邊間elementary school ok ? 我見好嗰啲係咪係north Edmonton 多？

Hello, I live in Edmonton. The rent really depends on the area and location. Generally speaking, the rent is among C$1300-1700 for two bedroom apartment.
The schools in the south are better ranking. You could check all school ranking in Alberta from Fraser institute website.

Most of the apartments for tend do not have furnitures. There are a few which provide furnitures and of course, the rent must be higher.
Yes, lots of Hong Kong people here and there are some Cantonese speaking driving instructors. Don’t worry

The one bedroom should be cheaper, around 1000 per month. Edmonton has LRT and the transportation system is not too bad. If you live close to some major transit center like west Edmonton mall or southgate. You may not need to own a car. But considering the long and cold winter, it’s always a good idea to ride yourself instead of waiting at the bus station. The car insurance is related to your past driving experience and your car value. My husband has 18 years of experience, his insurance is around 150 per month

In case if I learning driving or n Edmonton , I can drive my car once I got the driving license? Because I heard someone said need to wait one year after get the license in case if u need to drive , I m a bit confuse of that.

如果你本身無香港車牌，咁你考完筆試後需要等一段時間先可以再考路試，好似係一年

其實無車，冬天生唔生存到？以我睇過冬天天氣溫度平均都-15-20度喎，住downtown 有LRT 可以survive 到嗎？

計埋wind-chill 有時唔至-20, 如果你住LRT站附近而返工又返downtown within walking distance係可以唔使揸車，但平時出去買野例如去Costco,Ikea 個d 就一定要揸車

其實plan 想過嚟，but don’t have driving licence yet , plan to bring my kid , so am looking some school info too , she is 8 , any school for recommendations? Is Stratford good, I found that it can study until grade 9.

in my experience,-15-20 已經係普通野，有時仲凍，如果你想帶小朋友建議你夏天去睇睇環境先好d, 我無小朋友所以答唔到你學校既問題，唔好意思

I used to live there but not anymore la, 但呢幾年都有留意Edmonton d 樓，我自己鐘意南邊遠d 新區多新樓，近大學就舊，downtown 治安麻麻但方便，多學生住，老一輩華人就鐘意住北邊，西邊就近west Edmonton mall,東邊used to be 工業區，而家唔知啦
