Re: canon 70-200mm/ F4 VS Canon 70-200mm /F2.8

//The 10D focusing system is the same as EOS 30/33, which is not bad. some people explain the 10D focusing inaccuracy with the fact that we can all easily zoom 100% of the photo on a computer. But zooming 100% is like printing a 2'x3' photo (a very high magnification).//

I heard that too, but Canon can calabrate the Len to fix the problem wor, I heard zoom len has more problems and only happen at certain focal range.

//That is interesting, I didn't know you can ask the shops to scan higher resolution. Photo CD has a low resolution therefore I bought a 4000dpi film scanner 2 years back. It is very good but also very time consuming.//

Only if you know the shop la, as it takes much longer time to burn CD with large files. I heard they can do something like 4000x5000 pixel la!

The shop I know just bought a 4000dpi film scanner too but it was too slow for them and only scanned a few time and now selling it.

Re: canon 70-200mm/ F4 VS Canon 70-200mm /F2.8

Hi himarj,

In fact the reason why I start interested in DSLR is most photo developing shops uses digital machine nowadays, so even if you are taking film photos the prints has digital feel. So unless go to old shop or pro shop, not easy to get the feeling of film prints anymore.

Try shoot a roll of slide with your film camera and you would appriciate why some peoples still insist on using film camera even they also owns a DSLR.

Also the crop factor of DSLR is a big problem for those who like to take landscape photos. 28mm is just the starting point for landscape shots, 20mm, 17mm and 12mm is their favour lenses.
