If you're going to buy 24-70mm f2.8L or 28-70mm f2.8L, I think you'll like it very much after compare with other LENs you have.
After I use 24-70mm, I do not use my 28-135mm any more...
How about your 70-200mm f4.0 L? My personal feeling is my 700-200mm IS is better than 24-70mm... If it's an outdoor activity, I prefer 70-200 even if's heavier...
