Sorry, hope you don't mind I share my experience for use of the baby carrier.
My bb is now 9 mos. When the first 3 months, I borrow one carrier from my friend, she brought it at "toys 'r' us " at $130 plus. This kind of carrier might use for few times only as your bb normally go out when there is a check-up appoinment at his first few months. And sometime I even hand my bb instead of use the carrier.
If for a few month old baby, I suggest you can buy the one which can let the bb face both outside -can see "street street" and can face to you (while he fall asleep). My bb enjoy very very much the position of face outside! :wink: . Last time I had one carrier who can use only face to me, (my bb feel quite angry and don't like- I use only 2 times and I buy a new one!). Of course, 4 in 1 or 3 in 1 carrier is better but also expensive. Hope you can find the suitable one!
p.s. mothercare is on sale now(30% off) and I brought mine there for $375. - very nice!
The brand is "Maclaren". Orginal price is $499. and now on sale is only $349.30 only. It is suitable for infant (I think 3mos or above) from 5 or 6kg upto 11.3kg. There are still few kind of choices, I choose this model coz it can let the bb hands and legs come out and make them feel more comfortable but I think not suitable for bb under 3 mos. Pls. check with the staff their for details. Hope u can find a suitable one for you bb.
