Twins2,
Is it Enfamil? My son took it when he's still in the hospital for 3 days. I breastfed him afterwards. But, I gave him Enfamil twice. The first time was when he's less than a month and the other time was when he's around 1.5 month. He vomited at both occasions. For the 2nd time, he vomited after feeding him for 4 hours. He drank very little the whole night and his face turned pale. I was very sad and guilty. So, I did not feed him formular afterwards and since then he was totally breastfed by me.
When my bb is less than 1 month, she always vomited. Then, my doctor said bb's stomach & digestion system hv not yet well developed, so asked me to feed her like this: let's say 3oz in a bottle, feed her in 2 sections like 1.5oz, make her "urh", then 1.5oz follows. The total feeding time took 1 hr.
Now, my bb is 2.5 months, it takes 30 mins to 45 mins for 5 oz. And the vomit frequency is less than b4.
So, don't need to worry too much!! Ah, my bb takes 2-3 times bf & others Enfamil A+ every day.
You don't worry about this beause when my baby 2-6 mths she alway vomited, I try to change the milk power also the same, so I think not the milk power problem. Now my baby is 7 mths she eats very good, hasn't vomit any more.
