You can try to make the room darker during meal time, as BB starting from 6 months are very 8, they want to touch and see everything... so, make it dark can help them to concentrate to "drink milk" instead of playing... Try not to play with him, not to talk to him during meal time.
Sometimes, when they "push the bottle", it does not mean they don't want to drink, it is only because this is the only "movement" they know how to do.
My bb eat 5 oz. per meal, she eat 4 spoons 糊, 2 spoons apple. But my bb six months old. She eat very little. She weights about 13 lbs. only.

Hello! Been following the July and August 04 mammy club since early 2004. Learnt a real lot! Thanks so much!
My bb is born on 29 July 04. She weights only 13lbs 11 oz. She used to follow the 10/25 percentile but now she is on the 3/10 percentile. She had her 6in1 jab on Wednesday and the doctor noted her weight but he is not worried for the time being coz he said bb looks bright but he asked me to monitor her weight for this month.
Her daily intake of milk totalled around 15 to 18 (sometimes 13! sometimes 22!). Two solid meals a day (rice cereal/congee/mashed veg. and meat and 3oz each time) plus a fruit puree as snack in the late afternoon.
Anyone know how to increase her appetite? "Open milk tea" or "rice water" for making milk may be?
Nice to know our daughter share the same birthday. A "Monkey Leo", I guess they won't be too easy to handle?
My daughter usually gets 14 hours sleep in 24 hours. She ususally sleep from 10:30 to the next morning but these few days she seemed a bit restless and woke up in the middle of the night.
She drinks only 4-5oz each time so I try to give her milk after each solid meal as well. Just don't know what to do, may be I should just take it easy and wait for doctor's comments when I next see him. If he said something special, I shall share his comments here.
