I am considering to hire a 印尼 who speak cantonese or english to take care my baby. I want my baby have more chance to practice english and learn more vocaburary at home. But I also worry about that would confuse him (speak english and cantonese at home) and then delay the step of learning speaking. May I have your adivce????????????////
I've hired an Indonesian maid to take care of my baby. My maid can speak some English and Cantonese. And to my surprise, her English is much better than Cantonese. She can express herself in English, complete sentence. But she also speaks Cantonese, simple vocabulary.
The confusion will only begin in the beginning. And my friend's children are mastering English very well, at the age of 2. But they hire Phillipino maid. Now their parents worried that their children don't speak Cantonese at all.
