I just came back from Chime Long. I think to adults, the feelings of visiting the night zoo is much better than that of the day one. But to those small kids (like mine, he's just 2 yrs and a half), it would be a bit boring because it was too dark for them.
The Chinese food in Chime Long Hotel is rather disappointing. On the other hand, the breakfast buffet is quite alright except the price because it costs $50 for kids (no matte how small they are). My kid ate nothing because he just finished his milk in the morning but I have to pay $60 for him.
I stayed for 3 days and 2 nights and I think the time is just fit because there are no more places for you to visit except the two zoos.
We stay in house in 'Ki Fu', and went to the zoo by car. I like the day zoo, because my kids can see the animals more clearly. And there are bus and small train for us to travel inside the day zoo. So it is not so tired. And the ' journey to the West' show is very good.
Apart from the zoo, we see the firework in 'Ki Fu'. It is very exciting. We ate first in Ki Fu, which is very expensive. Last night we ate in the downtown of Pun Yu, which is much cheaper and delicious.
One special thing you can do in Panyu is playing fireworks at night. There is a restricted area near Ki Fook allowing people to play fireworks and there are two stalls selling fireworks.
The room in Chime Long is quite good cos' I like the 6 feet wide queen size bed. It allows my son sleeping with me and my husband. And the view is quite good because there is a balcony in every room.
香江野生動物園
same owner as 'cheung lun', just very near to 'cheung lun'. first, should go by its free bus service to the non-walking area (with animals on grassland). then, should go by its free mini train to see the shows and animal in cages.
show: 'a journey to the West monkey show' and 'white tiger' show - must see.
you can go to 'wing tong' and ask. its office is in TST.
We stay in 'ki fu', a friend's house. We book van for traveling to the zoo from the management company of the house and they buy ticket for us at 10% discount.
