Babies are most at risk of vitamin D deficiency if:
1. They are exclusively breastfed.
2. Their mothers are vitamin D deficient.
3. They are not exposed to enough sunlight.
4. They have darker skin.
5. They live in northern communities.
These babies should get a daily supplement of vitamin D.
