The ultrasound examination at public hospital is a routine examination at around 20 week which is a comprehensive and detailed one and is a must see in order to know whether there is any defect in internal organs and the size of development, however it does not check on whether the the baby may have 唐氏綜合症 as the OSCAR examination (13-15week)
Public hospital will only give each pregnant woman one routine ultasound examination at around 20 wk, further ultrasound examinations will be given only if there are abnormalities ntd.
