I don't really agree to go to the gift shops at the beginning because you don't want to carry all the bags the whole day especially when it's raining. The best is leave it to the end when you are on the way back to the MTR station. I went on Wednesday. I suggest you go to Fantasy World first to take photos with all the Cartoon charactors (long queue) and then to Buzz Lightyear area. The tree house Tarzen area can leave it to the end. All food is 30% off. Remember to buy the Mickey Mouse's hat $60, you can have your daughter's name sew at the back. Have fun!
I will visit HK Disney on 4 Sept, Please let me know where can i buy the hat as you stated. I want to purchase one for my BB.
Do you know the restaurant that Micky and Minnie will come out and greet to guest is openned or not, and where can i make the reservation of table before i visit the park.
You can purchase the hat at one of the shop (big one) along the "American Street" at the front of the theme park. Sorry I don't know the name of the shop. And I don't know which restaurant will have such special arrangement. You can try to ring their hotline 1830 830 for details.
connie,
I think to go at 2 it's a bit late. I arrived at 12 and left at 7, but still I haven't played and seen everything. Because you would spend a lot of time queuing up for taking photos with the cartoon charactors.
I only have hamburger and fries at the restaurant next to Buzz Lightyear because I don't want to have rice / noodles. The food was good especially the fries - yummy yummy. I had a burger set $35 (no drinks included) and my son had a children's meal $25 (fried chicken, chips and soft drink), after 30% discount = $42 which is alright.
"fastpass" is an express pass which saves u a lot of time to queue up waiting for the rides or to the threatre. I didn't get any because the max. normal waiting time is 15 - 20 mins. which I think it's acceptable.
You can either get it at the information - right at the front of the theme park or next to the queuing area of rides / threatre.
We will go on 23/8 (Tuesday). My daughter is just 20-month old.
1) Is it the best to go Fantasyland with such a small kid?
2) Anything in Fantasyland is with age restriction? Like not allowed for children under 3?
3) Do I need to use one tickets for my Kid aged under 3?
4) Any smart tips for bring such a small child?
5) Is it still very crowd and very long queue? I just went to LA Disneyland, I spend almost more than 1 hour to 1.5 hours for every rides/show......people said all Dsineyland in the world are with super long queue.... feel so scared!!
