去年暑假一家喺多倫多住左個半月
阿仔返summer school
估唔到佢好適應亦好鍾意
所以想安排阿仔過去讀書
但我地一家唔係加藉
暫時亦無打算放棄香港嘅野

今年我仔暑假後升P4
諗住喺香港讀完小學就過去
我會陪佢一齊過去
其實我應該要點做?
可以點搵學校?
係咪要跟屋企地區?
唔係加藉係咪只有私校可以選?
另外
我地去年同岩岩買左2間apartment 樓花
1間喺Lesile 夾Sheppard
另1間喺hwy 7 夾Warden
2間都係預計2013尾/2014頭收樓
如果搵學校係要跟屋企地區嘅話
邊區會好D?

both regions are good. sheppard and leslie belongs to north york region while hwy 7 and warden has good elementary school.

however, you will have to check if any of these public school intake overseas student or else you will have to go to other district for the private school.

Hi yy13,

As "Lesile & Sheppard" belongs to Toronto District School Board; and "Hwy 7 & Warden" belongs to York Region District School Board. I believe both school boards did take elementary school students from Overseas. Hope below links will able to provide you the info you needed.

Do you mind I ask you a couple of questions?

For the apartment 樓花, do you pay 100% or you have to apply for mortgage? As I also wish to do something similar but has no idea how?

If you don't mind, can you tell you how much is your apartment 樓花 range? Sorry I don't mean to ask you personal questions, just wish to know how much $ is involving.

Also, any risks for apartment 樓花?

Are you Canadian citizens? Any restrictions?

- 2間apartment 樓花我只係比左部份錢 (15-20%), 其餘尾數就等收樓時先再做按揭

can you tell you how much is your apartment 樓花 range?
- 1間CAD$4XX,XXX (呢間去年買, 唔太記得確實銀碼, 2 bed rooms), 1間CAD$270,000 (呢間岩岩買, 1 bed room), 2間都連1個車位

Also, any risks for apartment 樓花?
- 我同屋企人都係第1次喺加拿大買樓, 有無風險我諗最緊要睇發展商, 單棟我就唔考慮

- 我同屋企人都唔係加藉, 最大分別係比錢要先比多D, 同埋發展商唔收海外支票

Hi yy13,

Since you children will be attending Elementary School in either Toronto / Markham, I believe the School Boards will decide which school your children goes. The decision factor will be based on where is he/she live.

Unlike HK, school admits their students based on the boundary set by the School Board. To save you time and effort, I personally prefer you contact the School Board, not the individual school for availability.

yy13, yes, you better write to the school board (one for toronto and one for york region) and tell her you will be living in this locatioin and what school is available for your kids to attend . you will have to mentioned you are non-canadian as they do haev quota for taking overseas student.
