I agree that there is no direct relationship between 食母乳 and 戒夜奶. I think it depends on individual baby.
My daughter starts to have 7 hours of sleep (10:30pm to 5:30am) since she turned 2 months. Sometimes I even have to wake her up around 6am before I go to work. However, there is no special training we put on her, she just goes by without the mid-night feed herself.
i think it depends. many breastfeeding mothers would 'help' or train their bbs to quit it but some others don't. my bb at times does not need night feeding but in the past few weeks she would drink at about 3 am or 4-5 am. i just feed her. as i'm a working mother, i use 'night feeding' to 'maintain' the milk production
I think there is no direct relationship between bf and night-feeding. It really depends on the babies. For mine, he stopped night-feeding when he was around 2 months old. I thought I can train him by feeding him formula milk on 11 pm. He however, refuse to drink it. Then, I decide to do nothing. Miracles happen as he has slept from 11pm to 5am since 2 months old with only bf. Now he is 4 months old and he slept from 10pm to 6:30am. Most of the time in the morning is dream feeding. Thank God!
If he is uncomfortable because of illiness or injection, he still need night-feeding. It does happen several occassion.
