I have bought 拉丁美洲基金 in Dec 2005 and now is increasing to 9.7% and the same time I also bought Eastern Europe which now increase to 15%. I would like to hold different funds to diversify my risk.
The two funds that I own, Templeton Latin America Fund and JPM Eastern Europe Fund are doing very well up to this moment. Together they account for around 30% of my unit trust fund portfolio.
I believe the most important thing is to spread the risk, e.g. long term investment (at least 5-10 years), by monthly installment, and keep the high risk (high return) investment to 20-30% or under of own investment portfolio, redeem the investment fund when the price is high (and profit is earned), etc.
You'll never know one day there might be political/economic turmoil or crisis in those developing countries like South America, Eastern Europe + Russia, India and China (to a certain extent) that will affect your investment.
印度基金 is lagging behind funds of Latin America , China and Eastern Europe in terms of performance. But it's too early to judge at such early stage of the year that it cannot come from behind .
