Since Fafa may not join our birthday party now, we may need to make a few adjustments.
NamNam,
In case we only have 15 families (31 adults+17 kids), our costs should be $108x31+$88x17+$500(punch) = $5,344. Would you please check with the clubhouse to see if it accepts this as the minimum charge? If not, how much?
There are a few items which are nice-to-have but not absolutely necessary :
a. Pinata - $110-120 + fillings (~$20/family)
b. Bigger birthday cake - $160 to increase to 5lbs (~$10/family)
c. Decorate a small cake each - $40/family (yet to see someone volunteering to buy the cakes)
d. Banner - at first I proposed each family to make a word or 2 to put them together (to share the workload). It will be incomplete if Fafa does not come (unless someone takes up the missing words)
Our birthday party is only 11 days away. We need to get ourselves prepared in the count-down mode. Shall we vote what we want to keep as follows :
The program run-down is as follows (quoting Kanax & NamNam's suggestion before) :
11:30 - 12:00 (工作人員可11:30去到佈置)
12:30-2:00 食野
2:00 - 3:00 遊戲 + 講故事
3:00 - 4:00 pinata + 切蛋糕 + 影相 + 派禮物
4:00後 自由活動 (可以去遊戲室玩到晚上10:00)
Regarding the sharing of duties :
a. Games - Ramomo, 靖嵐
b. Story telling - Kanax
c. CD/VCD - Ramomo, Fannie
d. Banner - to be cancelled?
e. MC - Fannie, Jsmami, who else?
f. Finance - Fannie, NamNam
g. Pinata - to be confirmed? (Hohan for fillings & Jsmami for pinata)
h. Small cake - to be confirmed? (NamNam for toppings & 1 mummy to buy the cakes?)
i. Name tag - on the cups & our chests (Christ again ?)
For the gifts for our kids, we do not seem to have anyone taking charge.
KLLP, if I am not mistaken, I heard NamNam saying u know where to buy gifts at very good price in Shumshuipo. Do u have time to do it? Sorry, I just read that Matthew & father-in-law are sick. If not, can any mummy do it? Ramomo & Chingnam, have u bought anything for your games?
Have I missed out anything? Are there anymore volunteers?

Thanks for helping to buy the gifts. Do u have time for it (given Matthew & your in-law may need you a lot)? Hohan called just now for the gifts & fillings inside the pinata. Can you two go shopping together :mrgreen:? For the budget, shall we keep it to $20/family? i.e. $300 in total? Would that be enough ?-(? It shall include :
1. a gift pack for each birthday boy or girl;
2. fillings for the pinata;
3. any small presents for children winning a game???

My mistake. NamNam told me that it was KiuKiuHinHin Ma who knew where to buy inexpensive gifts in Shumshuipo ! Since you may need to take care of Matthew (make sure he gets well for our party), let us seek KiuHinMa's help this time (if u don't object)???
