I had travelled to China during my first 2 months for around 3 times. The first 2 times was due to the fact that I didn't aware of my pregnancy. The 3 rd time was due to that the meeting there was very important and I should attend that even I know that I was pregnant at that time. That was my last trip to China and I am now almost 7 months.
I rejected all the travelling including to Europe since I think it'll be more safe to stay in HK. Especially for the first few months, it's critical. So, if you can decline the trip, let's do that. Besides, the food in China is not too safe.
I also went to business trip during my 3rd month pregnancy. I went to US for two weeks, even doctor told me not to go.
But nothin happened to me. So I think whether to go or not really depends on your health condition.
I told my company about my pregnancy only after my business trip. It was during my 4th month pregnancy already. Afterwards I refusted to go to all biz trips.
Good luck to you.

I think you have to protect yourself and your baby. Ask your doctor to issue a certifcate to prove that you having a baby and pass it to your boss/admin. If you don't feeling good, such as moring sick, don't go! Cause if you provide the letter to them, they cannot force you to go any business.
Personally, I think my baby more important than everything (even my work).
