My maid just came to hk in June n her passport's expiry date is feb 2013 ( I requested I need to keep her passport before employing her), she recently said to me that she need to renew her passport n the passport need to have at least 6 months before expiry date, she wants to get it back, but I said to her that I will accompany her to renew together (but she need to do 2 years then sin can back to her home country). Is it necessary for her to renew so early now or she has another intention like borrowing money? Pls suggest.
