my parents don't like my husband at the beginning too....they also said he is not rich....and my mom worry about I might have tough time later on after marriage

but I guess we are doing just fine...and I still believed I made the right decision so far..

My hubby is not my first boyfriend...but sure he is my last one la..

my law suit will be held on June 25.....I am not worry too much....becasue my lawyer told me just to tell the truth and tell everyone in court what had happend on that day.... me and my lawyer will meet again the day before the trail...

oh hehehe fatbean is girl. how cute! my hubby is not rich neither but we are happy our life. we are trying to make it better and we almost there , so poor doesn't mean sad but rich not have to be happy. Foreigner culture is totally difference from chinese. Basically they dont' give any money to their wife .

pepsii,
you are in lawsuit too? oh mine.. l hope it over soon and you can rest and ready for the new baby. my doctor complain about me not gaining enough weight too. l gained 26 lbs my last pregnancy and have a 8.14 oz boy out even l still couldnt' reach the at least gaining 28 lbs the doctor suggest. Be happy is importance !

oh Mac& chees.. alex love it too . but your boy only 7 months old wor... he already mac & chees? l found out alex trend to very american too when he come to eat! myself l never l love my chinese food, l don't see what is so yum about american food! somehow l think they dont' know what is good food! deep fire everything.. yuk! l wish you the best about your lawsuit.

I guess not many rich men out there cuz most of us didn't marry one. hehehee, like I said before, my hubby is not rich at all and I agree with yv, rich is
not = happiness. At least that's what I tell everday just make myself feel better, hehehe, just kidding. I am sure if the couple work hard enough and have a better living together, they treasure each other more.

pepsii:
I didn't gain at all for the first 3 mos of my pregnancy and actually I have lost like 2-3 pounds at the beginning. Don't worry, after the blood work, you will know whether you are anemic or not, if you are like me which I was, the doc. told me just make sure I take the prenatal vitamin and drink 3 glasses of milk per day. Drink the low fat one otherwise, you will end up gainning too much gar. I gained total of 40 pounds and I have a 7pound 5 oz baby boy.
Finally, we have a better weather now, can't wait to let my boy to be in the pool.

I don't know what to say, just look at the bright side la, and get as much as legal advise as you can. I remembered when I was 6 mos pregnant, I was in the car accident with my hubby, that car went over the red light and hit our car but the bastard said the other way around.... No witness and at the end, the insurance company settle down the case by both parties need to take the responsibilty!!, Let me tell you there are full of these kinds of people in the world but thank god I was okay and of course my hubby was so pissed off but what can you do right, take a easy.

I am here again. I have a long time no coming because my mom-in-law here ( she stayed here almost one and half month ) She just left yesterday, but I have not finish the "sit moon" period. It is because she is living too far and her daughter can drive her home yesterday so she early to go. That's good for me and I can relax.

My wound is still pain but I don't take attention for that, because I need take care my baby. But my mom-in-law always complaint me why I gave surgery to born baby. She said often and she didn't believe I have breastmilk to feed my baby. When my baby cry and want to eat, she always said I have no enough milk to feed her so she always hungry. She always said negative words and she had an emotion. One day, she suddenly had a bad mood and straight word to me. I didn't know why and I felt uncomfortable for her manner. I tried to use my thick face to ask her even though her reaction was not good. Finally, I found out what happen, she had a jealous I take care my baby. She want to look after my baby too. I don't know yet because I see her busy house duty so I just do a mom status. I busy all day and I am tired and pain, but she just make me trouble although she do a lot of house work. sometimes I ate my lunch late cause take care baby and she didn't like. In fact, my kitchen and yard seems change to her style. I just thought I respect her because she is my husbands'mom.
When I knew her problem, I let her take care baby first even though baby cried.

Any mom, Did you have same trouble like me?

At least you can breathe after your MIL is gone, I have never live with my in-law but I know there is always conficts not only between in-laws even though sometimes I have arguments with my hubby too. I guess is "good to get around but living together is tough" I don't think you are wrong at all but seems like your MIL is kinda mean, sorry if I have said that wrong but my in-law is okay, maybe because everyone on my hubby side afraid of my hubby and actually my Father in law is very soft and same as my sister-in-law and my MIL listens to my hubby and the relationship between is very "friendly".
Don't think too much, after women gave birth, sometimes we develop depression, you didn't do anything wrong.

My mother in law and father in law are separate when my hubby was 8yrs old.
My mother in law is so poor. my hubby's brothers never let her touches their childern.
She was so happy when she hold fat bean.
I think we will love our grandchildren so much too.
So hope you...........

Our generation (only male) is not good.
As my first brother only loves his wife and her family.
My father passed away, they ingored (just like strangers).
My sister in law is a witch super devil.
My nephew is as lazy as a pig.
He doesn't take shower on everyday.
Brush his teeth and wash his face (only do the elder one)
he treating us as his slaves never help for housework
He is living with us.
He only loves to sleep and be with his computer.
Also we being so nice to him ( his parents never gave us money for his expense) but he had complainted to his parents our family abuse him.

What a looser he is!!!!!

how you doing>> sorry to hear your story with your MIL.....I think it's pretty normal to have conflict...I had a real big fright when I lived with my in-law...now we are separted and I will never never live with them again..!!! it's better to avoid than TRYING living together :-x :-x

I went to see the doctor yesterday once again..my weight didn't increase !!!....I already set up the appointment for ultrasound on July 7, I'm so excited..hope baby will be fine.......

I don't gain weight for the 1st 3 months and also lose weight too. Don't worry. Then I regained all the weight, by the time I gave birth to my 1st son, I gain 40 lbs!! (my baby is 8 lbs 12 oz when he was born)
The 2nd one gain weight from the beginning, I gain more than 40 lbs at that time. So don't complain you don't gain weight. I have friends gain total 19 lbs but she gave birth to a 7 1/2 lbs baby!!

you are very understanding daugther in law! what a lucky lady your MIL is. is she chinese too? anyway she did all the housework for you and try to help out! l think most of MIL also said mean thing to their daughter in law when come to take care of grandbaby . l live with my MIL and FIL. as whalebb said
get around is fine but living together is tough"! l do agree coz my MIL is super good people but we do have some ugly time when come to take care of kids! she always doubt about do l have enough breaskmilk, how should l handle my older son's potty traning.... etc.... But she is very lovely lady to me!!!

l agree IC wor. did you take any parental vitamins? you need that lf you are not that kind of lady would gain weight ! as l told you underweight both of my prengnancy. my first boy 7.5 lbs l was just 118 lbs at that time l deliver him. your baby is gaining weight growthing bigger but in the meanwhile you losing weight so you seem you didnt' gain much. l mean at least you gain some , right?

yes, she left alreadly, in fact, I have a little miss her, anyway, she is a hard work MIL. I know she is caring my husband. So, if I know how to take care her son ( of course, use her style to take care, like, no eat more cool food, to boil good food to him, early to sleep, etc...), she will happy, otherwise, I am a sin person. For her, I always nice to her and no argue with her even though I don't agree with her opinion, but I like keep a distance with her, I think this is a good method with our relationship.

About my baby, this is a second day only me & my baby in a day time. I do nothing even though I want to do house work. My baby is easy wake up if she is sleep in her bed or my bed. But if hold her, she can a deep sleep for a long day. This morning, I tried to let her crying a few times, hope she can stop for herself, but fail. She seems didn't stop cry. My shoulder and hand wrist is too pain la..... It maybe now baby is still tiny and just the first a few weeks. Hope she is better after one month. :-P

不要擔心啦, 我兩次懷孕都勁嘔, 食什麼就嘔什麼, 第一次連血(因為嘔到損晒)及黃膽水都嘔埋出來, 第二次重慘, 嘔足十個月, 有幾次覆診重輕了, 不過, 有食vitamin, 生出來居然有8.1磅, 最緊要留意個胎郁動次數正常否.

I like girl very much too. When I know my 2nd one is a boy by the ultrasound (though the 1st one is a girl) , the doctor pointed to me and said 呢枝是旗仔, I ask him again, what is 旗仔? He said 男仔的性器官囉! 其實, 我都知啦, 不過想有喜出望外的答案, 結果好 upset, really upset, want to cry. 但始終有個希望是錯的. 後來, 抽羊水驗, 冇得走雞了, 是男 , 接受現實, 不過無upset. Now, my baby boy is 5 months, I'm proud of he is a boy, a lovely boy. And my daughter loves him very much too.

I gainted my weight fast.
But I had a mini baby. 5 Ibs then dropp to 4 Ibs

Only my mother loves gamble.
She loves go to black jack table, sitting there for 24 hrs. Doesn't need to sleep or to eat.
Everytime we have to push her go back to room for sleeping at mid night.
If she ingore us, I will bring Fat bean stand in front of her.
Then she will leave the table.

See, don't worry la, we all have a healthy baby even though we didn't gain much weight at the beginning and I envy the people who gain little but have the heavy duty one, I have a friend, she only gained 22 pounds and her son is almost 8 pounds! Just make sure you take the vitamin everyday and oh, drink milk ar, my son gets very strong bone when he was born, I wonder it might be all the milk that I have drank when I was carrying him :-P

1st time mother, use the method - trial and error

even though my son is 26 mos old now, I still learning everyday, is tough at the beginning but soon you will feel more easy gar la. Kids are smart, if you hold her too much, is a bad habit and sometimes, let them cry a bit can increase their lungs' function. Drink more fluid if you are still BF her. take care.
