How are you? Now is 3:35am. I think only me to online at late night. I am glad to see you online too. Owing to daytime, I need take care my baby ( 5 weeks & 3 days ) so I have no private time to do anything. In these few nights, I use my time ( my husband & baby sleep ) to do my favor. Like online. Last night, I put my photos in the album ( baby shower, delivery, baby ... ) I feel find to myself. ha.......

Yes, take care baby is fun but hard. Sometimes baby cry, but we don't know why. I just check diaper, hungry or not, vomit or not, hot or cold. After my mom-in-law left my home, I tried to let my baby cry a little long. It is because I want train her play or sleep herself. However; she cried 30 min and sound still loud and no stop. Additional, her face is change red. Thus, I hold her again. I think, if any neighbor hear or listen her crying, they must think I threat my baby and call 911. In these nights, she also crying before sleeping, even though she drinks milk. I bf and formula for her. In day time, I almost hold her full of my time. It made my wrist pain and I use the chinese oil to cure 3 nights. So far no good. It maybe I need hold my baby daily. On the other words, I enjoy my newborn baby crying and eating. When she cry a loud, it is said her lung is health. When she drinks my breastmilk & bottle, I like to see her face. It is so cute. My baby is tiny baby. ha...

Long time no talk. I am busying for my newborn baby. How about your "fat bean"? Do you tell me how many month I need change solid to my baby. Now I just give her formula & breast milk. I feel tired now. time is almost 4am. I think I need to sleep. take care

I remember the American joke that most of the American men only sit in front of TV and watch Sport channel on Sunday. Does it apply to your husband?

The show time of PGA in Hong Kong is mid-night. All my kids are sleep already, but I am glad that my husband watch PGA while I am on BK. Looks like he accompany me during late night. ha~ ha~ 亞Q精神

Talking about names. I wonder what chinese names other USA mommy give to their babies. When we name my eldest daughter, we just love the word 樂 and 彤, so we name her 樂彤, didn't aware those words are very very popular in Hong Kong already. 彤 is really popular. You can always find 3 out of 10 girls name 彤. Other popular names have 晞彤, 曉彤, 天朗, 晴, 瑤 etc. It seems that our generation just love those words.

I also get another problem. The birth certificate in Hong Kong looks very nice, but the birth certificate from USA is just a piece of xerox paper with a seal on it. When I apply school in Hong Kong for my daughter, people always question about my certificate is just a copy. :-(

That's OK. It's really not a good idea to bring an infant to the march especially if you were one of the unlucky to stuck in Causeway Bay for 3 hours. :-(

All the names that you have mentioned they all sound very nice. Even though it might be common now but compare to the old days, the name that my mom and grandma used like, " mei, fung, lai, bo...., forget about it,

My hubby is not a sport fan, he will just watch the big completition, like the NBA playoff, super bowl...,
H.K. people likes to watch the scoccer game right?
It is not too popular in US though.
My son's birth certificate is pretty cool, maybe they have changed recently?! cuz I think is pretty fancy wor but I know once you lost it you won't able to get the original type and like you said, the copy is just a piece of xeros paper. That's why I rather apply the passport for my son even though I am only going to take him to the domestic region in the summer, use the passport intead of the birth cert. for the flight cuz I don't want to take a risk of loosing the original one.

Time flies, your daughter is already 5 weeks old, you don't feed her solid food until she is 5 mos old gar. Even though people said, they can have it after they turned 4 mos. old but my mom told to hold it until my son is 5 mos. old, first food that they going to have is the rice cereal but I am sure your daughter's pediatrician will tell you more everytime when she has the vaccination and she will be seeing him/her once a month for the next 6 mos. You have to get more rest too since your are B/F, after I have my son I can't really stay up late at nite anymore. Before I have my son, every weekend, seemed like I don't have to sleep and I can stay in bed till the next day afternoon. Now, arrrhhh, no matter what time I go to bed, I still have to get up the next morning for my son. :-(

l glad to hear your case all done! l feed ryan commerical jar food already , green beans and carrot his favourite. what a health eater(l hope he will keep it)

you BF your baby, you need to watch your diet too if she is a little fuzzy baby. she may be get alot of gas in her little tummy so she fuzzy all the time( could be) my ryan was a fuzzy little boy , until l stop eating broccli, caultflower(spell) those food coz extra gas to your bf baby. Also aviod pepsi , coffee, tea or coca cola those caffennie(spell) , it keeps baby up give them turn out fuzzy . she may be also allergric some food you ate like diary products , so if you did eat diary products try to stop for couple day see if she doing better? But some babies just fuzzy baby , they will do better about 4 months old.

I did not sleep last night. When I finished online last late night and I ready to bed. My baby woke up a few times. I feed her many times. The last woke up was 5am. Finally, I took her to living room to feed her, I don't want wake up my husband cause he need work. She slept again until 9am, I also slept too. I feed her again and she slept again but woke up 11:30. I slept with her, but I tried let her cry, however; one hour still cry and I saw her a big sweat. When I hold her in my tummy, she suddenly have a milk vomit. I change her clothing cause sweat. Hold her to living room and she clam down at once, no cry, no tear and sleep. See her face, I don't want let her cry again.

My baby boy born on 8 Jan'03. I have fully BF. For the 1st month, it's really hard. When I still in hospital, just like 軍訓 , the nurse will call you to bf at time. So my boy can enjoy my milk. I'd like to let you know, on 28 June, he has 9.46 kg, nearly over size la.
On 1 July, I started to give him some fruit puree & cereal.

Hi all USA mommies,
Long time no talk, I hope everyone having a good Fourth of July. We were going to a neighborhood parade this morning, but its rain real hard in Austin this morning!

Poor Mrs. Yip, you are still up at 4:00a.m. that how it is with the new born, it should get better by three months. Sleep whenever the baby is asleep, try to get all the rest you can! My oldest daughter cry a lot when she was a baby, she has to be hold all the time. When we have the twins, we just let them cry!

The twims were real good, they just eat and sleep, don't need too much attention, and we were more experience by then!

Is your husband a golf fan also? My husband used to go golfing every week, when we were living in Arizona, he hasn't play that much since we moved to Texas. I hate watching PGA also, but I enjoy watching Tiger Wood , he showed a lot of determination and concentration when he plays!

Hello, my baby is sleeping now. ha...

Yesterday ( Independent Day ), we went to Baby "R"s & Toy"R"s shopping. After then, we enjoyed a dinner at Rainforest cafe. My husband and I took baby to watch fireworks outside our house. Baby seems enjoyed too. How about whalebb, cutie mommy, jaan, Hayden mom, yv, Mrs. Leung...?

Last night, baby just woke up 2:45am and feed her. She almost slept until this early morning. :-P

Hi all, hope everyone had a great holiday weekend!

mrsyip: If you think it is bad right now, it is probably going to get worse..

Not to scare you, but my 9-month old Hayden B is still *NOT* sleeping though the night.. Last night he woke up every 2 hours wants to be BF.. :-x I am sure he is not hungry, he just wants me to be with him. I have to admit I got him on the bad habit tho.. now I have to live with it now... :-( :-( :-( But BF is the best thing you can do for your BB, keep it up!!

ckf: Your girl is so cute ar!! When will you finish moving?

mrs.leung: Yes my husband plays golf, but since I complained about staying at home watching baby, he hasn't been golfing for 1 month!

But he is glued to the TV to watch PGA, like yesterday he watched the Western Open most of the time. Fortunately Tiger finally won!

There are quite a few courses in Texas but my husband is from Florida and he said there are plenty more in FL. We both want to retire in Florida eventually!

pepsii: We didn't get to buy a grill after all, because I was too busy tidying up my vegetable garden. It has been raining quite a bit so my vegetables grew like weeds! It is very hard to control the snails and slugs because of the moisture too. When will you have the ultrasound done? I kept all the ultrasound pictures in Hayden B's photo album, it brings tears in my eyes everytime I see those pictures, imagine a tiny little bean becomes a huge baby!! :-P :-P :-P
Do you need to wear uniform for work? Do they have the materntiy outfits?

Hayden B is almost 22 lbs

Likes: Macaroni & cheese (in jars), steamed fish (torn up in pieces), meat in general, YoBaby yogurt, Mama milk
Dislikes: Peaches, green beans, plain vegetables
Abililities: Standing up by himself, walks with assistance, *RUNS* in the walker, pushes push cart

Hello everyone:
It was extremely hot in NYC on the July 4, we have a great time, BBQ, swimming and there are some people played the fire works too (shhhhhh!!) (is illegal to play fire works in NYC) :-P but we all have a great time.

HaydenMama:
HaydenBB is quite a big boy, 22 pounds, you must did a real good job !

Once you let the kids stay in your bed is really hard to cut this bad habit gar la, but maybe when he got older, he will want to stay in his own bed.

mrs.yip:
So, you only BF your baby, no formula at all? I did both for the first 2 mos, I found that is easier especially at night time, I only gave him formula at night time and he could sleep through the nite from 12 to 8 something since he was 5 weeks old, is pretty good gar, are you taking the maternity leave now or you are going to be the stay at home from now on?
