我會係私家醫院生bb, 所以會搵私人的臍帶血儲存公司幫個bb儲起臍帶血, 宜家有3間公司可以選擇, 而且規模都好大. 我月初聽左一個某臍帶血儲存公司的講座, 覺得臍帶血真係好有用, 而且只有bb出生時的那一刻才可以抽, 真係好寶貴架!

輸血服務中心的臍血收集服務現時只於廣華醫院及伊利沙伯醫院提供, 而在私家醫院暫未有提供收集服務.

Hmm.. U have to be Hep B, C Negative!
And also, giving birth in Kwongwah or QE.
They will check your family history.. and everything..
and need to reply for your baby's updated health statue in the future.

For private cord blood banking..
Cryolife is found in HK for 10 years, over 6000 samples(I will store in this one, more reliable)
Cordlife has a singapore background, but dont seems to be expanding..
Healthbaby.. hmm.. I dont like their marking/sales people.. Once I saw in a clinic.. they throw other company's pamphlets and put their in the front.
Too aggressive! and hardsell!

有媽媽願意捐出寶貴的臍帶血真的是功德無量！希望紅十字會可以接收在其他醫院生產的媽媽的愛心，而不只是這幾家醫院。

既然每家有婦產科的醫院都有儲存臍帶血的設備，那麼就應該可以請醫院配合幫忙一下，紅十字會付一點手續管理費都行吧！

我係BB展比較晒3間公司背景, 信譽, 品質, 可靠性, 攞晒d資料返屋企同老公商量, 啱啱禮拜六去左生寶個實驗室睇, 最後簽左生寶, 因為真係覺得佢品質有保證, 公司真係用心做生物科技相關既業務。

其實我第一胎儲係cryolife, 係bb展佢話減成8000蚊比我, 我即時好驚, 無不理由減咁多, 夠竟係食水深, 定係佢公司真係俾人搶晒d生意好唔掂, 如果食水咁深, 佢地夠竟用d mug 野儀器設備幫我儲??? 我宜家好驚我大女份血唔知點呀! 仲有最近係報紙睇到華源有隻藥品質有問題，有個bb女打左死左, 陰公, 不過我唔知佢佔cryolife 股份有幾多... 總之好驚la

我勸各位媽媽要比較清楚公司的財務狀況, 相關科研, 儲存地方, 技術, 儀器設備 ... 仲要睇下佢地有mug 野保障比d 客人... 記住問清楚囉

I am really sorry.. (my tummy cramp for the whole day after I read your posts..)
ok.. As a scientist.. let me re-write the post!

As you may know, Healthbaby had 2 storage systems, one is the automatic one and the other is the conventional one. As a responsible investigator/scientist, I do think both systems have their own adv/disadv.. or u may say.. if the conventional is that bad.. they wont invent it and let customer to choose.. right? so.. dont worry.

personally (u trust or not) I admired the vision of the boss (Healthbanks TW). I am talking about what to consider when u making a decision. I am not talking about the company.

what is your choose is a personal thing.

Sigh! be open-minded pls! sales have their own stand when they talking to u!

I am open.. since I'm not registered.

originally, I am drafting some info for points to consider when making decision.. it seems u people would not appreciate.

this is my last response on this topic!
I dont want u hurt my baby (I have hypertension)

My advise is.. dont trust any single person who told you their advance or things.. any single thing got its advantage and also disadvantage. Do select company which can fit your needs.. or things you "BUY".
