Actually Ashtanga & Iyengar are also types of Hatha yoga.
Iyengar use a lot of props, it focuses on the posture alignments. Whereas Ashtanga included series of postures, it concentrate more on the postures and breathings.
If you have back or muscle problems, Iyengar helps a lot. Ashtanga is quite difficult for me cos it's quite powerful and lots of hardwork. But this is the type of yoga that can certainly give you the "yoga butt" if you mastered it.
If you like hot yoga, i think it's Bikram yoga that you're referring to. I never do it before cos I'm afraid that I won't be able to breath while doing the series of postures in the heated environment.
Is it hard anyway?
re : hot yoga
I love it so much, same feeling as you, can spoil the liquid from the body. Keep body slim/firm.
Claudia,
$345 / monthly fee ar..
Lunch time is ok, not too many ppl. Instructors are all very professional from India. Join late... can't, leave earlier, usually 1-2 ppl during the lunch time class (instructor understands they're rush back to office), but only leave when cool down pose.
You can call to try a free class first. Last time they're in promotion, I paid $68/2 classes/free mat.
