in the past, i've been using the toilet at my workplace to pump the milk. I would bring a big paper towel into the toilet and also bring the sterilizing gel to clean my hand. I would cover the toilet with a big paper towel and sit on it. then pump the milk. during the process, my hand would not directly touch anything inside the toilet, i would use tissue paper to touch the stuff except the pump. hope it helps.
for your information, as a working mother, i exclusively breastfeed by bb till now - she is 9.5 mths old. i pump two to three times a day and God supplies me with enough breastmilk to provide to my bb.
toilet is OK. Like what prettywife said. Cover the toilet. Put a tower on it and sit down. Then put the milk into the fridge immediately (freezer). If you want to know how to bring the milk back home. I think we have a similar topic in this website. You can check. Don't worry. Everything is fine. When you get used to it, it is less difficult than you expect. I have done it for 6 months. Like some other mums said, 上癮 . I just don't want to quit.
I agreed that it is like 'addicted' to pump out the milk
I pump at the disabled toilet so that it is more spacious and less people use it, I think it is cleaner gwai. I pump twice, once at 11am and once at 4pm. They are used for tomorrow so I won't put them into the freezer but the lower compartment of the fridge only
Some mamis said '616' (with hot water )the pump is OK. I know there are some plastic bag for micro-oven sterilization. Put the pump and some amount of water into the bag. Put it into the micro wave for a few minutes. Then it is OK. You can buy some into 吉之島
